Coffee Table Terrarium | P103

A large living terrarium built into a solid oak coffee table, with toughened glass enclosing the planted landscape beneath. Measuring 120 × 70 cm, it was designed as both a functional piece of furniture and a fully planted terrarium.

Inside, a mixture of tropical plants, mosses and creeping foliage grow amongst natural wood and rock, creating a landscape that continues to fill out and change over time. The table was made as a one-off piece, with access built in for planting and ongoing maintenance.
